A&D Microwave & Oven Service Corp. is an established, CFESA-certified commercial kitchen equipment service company specializing in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial cooking equipment.
We service restaurants, hotels, schools, hospitals, corporate kitchens, and major commercial foodservice facilities throughout Long Island, New York City, Northern New Jersey, Westchester, and surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial kitchen cooking equipment.
- Work on commercial ovens, combi ovens, steamers, fryers, griddles, ranges, rotisserie ovens, warming cabinets, and other hot-side equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, gas, mechanical, and electronic control system failures.
- Perform equipment installations, start-ups, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer service manuals.
- Test and replace defective components, including motors, heating elements, thermostats, sensors, ignition systems, and control boards.
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, manufacturers, and technical support representatives.
- Maintain accurate service reports, diagnostic findings, photographs, and repair documentation.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
- Manage assigned service calls efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
- Ability to use multimeters, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned service calls.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment components and work in commercial kitchen environments.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude.
Preferred:
- Previous experience servicing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment.
- Experience with gas-fired and electrically heated commercial cooking equipment.
- Knowledge of 120V, 208V, 240V, and three-phase electrical systems.
- Experience reading electrical schematics and troubleshooting control circuits.
- Familiarity with manufacturers such as Rational, Convotherm, Cleveland, Alto-Shaam, Merrychef, Unox, and similar commercial equipment brands.
- CFESA certification or other relevant technical certifications.
- Experience in HVAC, appliance repair, industrial maintenance, or electromechanical service is also valuable.
